The CLIQ.lite ClareOS module sets a new low entry point for complete Clare Controls home automation systems by integrating a broad range of common interface elements into a single unit. Designed for cost effective deployment to production homes featuring support for up to 8 zones of Security, 2 IP Cameras, 4 Music Zones, 4 Entertainment areas, 10 lighting circuits, doorlocks and two thermostats. Upgradable to the CLIQ.host ClareOS module via cloud based update and running on the same powerful hardware platform as the CLIQ.host controller. The CLIQ Software Expansion License allows support for unlocking the ClareOS software loaded onto the CLIQ.lite or CLIQ.express controllers to the full unlimited potential. No hardware changes, no re-wiring, expand with a simple software license key from CLIQ.lite to CLIQ.host. As of March 9th, 2016 – all CLIQ.express and CLIQ.lite products were granted this license and subsequently discontinued.
The CLIQ.express is the entry-level controller for Clare’s home automation solutions, designed for high volume “managed from the cloud” deployment. Like the other members of the CLIQ controller family, the CLIQ.express module serves as the heart of the ClareOS Technology Ecosystem, providing device management services to all the customers’ applications, mediating all user interface interactions, and acting as the gateway to the Clare Cloud for automatic system updates.
